Perlenspielereien / Messin' around with beads

Erst seit kurzer Zeit mache ich auch Perlen aus Fimo. Diese kombiniere ich dann mit gekauften Perlen, oder auch nur miteinander. Und sehr oft entsteht auch Schmuck ganz ohne Einmischung von Fimo ;)

I only started making polymer clay beads a short while ago. These I usually combine with pearls and beads from the shop, or simply with each other. And very often I create jewellery pieces without any interference from polymer clay ;)

Ich brauchte den passenden Schmuck für die Weihnachtsfeier. Was liegt da näher, als ihn selber zu machen?

Eine Cane aus schwarzem und roten Fimo mit einigen Lagen Blattsilber auf 

Restfimo-Perlen aufgelegt.

                                       

I needed jewellery that matches my outfit for our Christmas party. So why not make it myself? This is made of a cane of red and black polymer clay and leaf silver, transferred onto mud clay beads.

Eins Hibiskus-Cane aufgelegt auf olivgrünen Fimo-Perlen. Leider schaffe ich es noch nicht, hauchdünne Scheibchen einer Cane zu schneiden, daher sieht man nur wenig von dem Grün

A Hibiscus-Cane transferred onto olive coloured polymer clay beads. Unfortunately, I am still unable to cut gauzy slices off a cane, therefore you can merely guess the olive colour of the beads

Ich habe einen neuen Pullover. Petrolfraben. Und was brauche ich? Na klar, passenden Schmuck! Petrol- und silberfarbene Fimoperlen kombiniert mit silbernen Salzperlen, ebenfalls aus Fimo.

I bought a new sweater. Petrol blue. And what do I need? Matching jewellery, of course! Petrol and silver coloured polymer clay beads combined with silver coloured salt beads, also made of polymer clay.
